Description
The purpose of this modification is to extend the due date for submissions to May 19, 2014 at 4:00 pm Eastern. In addition, the following answers are provided to questions submitted by interested vendors: Q1: Is the ATIP data a separate entity (and if so do we have access to it?) or has that already been used to update the current FRA network where applicable? A1: The contractor will have access to all of the data listed within the RFP. The ATIP will be used where it has not been processed into the FRA network. Q2: Will the NA database need to be added to the existing FRA database or will the two need to be combined into a new database? A2: The two networks will be combined into one. Q3: Are there additional guidance documents that will be made available? A3: Not at this time. Q4: Are we to only compare attributes between the two databases and flag the discrepancies or are we to verify the attributes from imagery or other ancillary sources? A4: The majority of the discrepancies will be among the attributes. Other questions submitted by vendors previous to today should be considered "to be determined" at this time. However, FRA may provide additional answers to vendor questions when determined to be worthwhile to this process. Furthermore, FRA would like to stress that this RFI is an informational exchange performed to leverage industry's knowledge in order to better define and understand a potential procurement. Nothing that is submitted or not submitted in response to this RFI will have any bearing on a vendor's ability to compete on any potential future related acquisition. Any and all input is appreciated.
