- BUILD 3 BEDROOM HOUSE - KATHY KAWAYKLA: In Mountain View, OK at the intersection of State Highway 9 and 1st street, go south past the school to the first house on the east/left side of street. Old frame house sits on an overgrown lot full of trees and weeds. General Requirements: Build and construct a new three (3) bedroom house on the site as marked. The intention of the documents is to include all labor, materials, equipment and other items as needed for the proper construction and completion of the house. Any standards referred to in general terms of construction shall have full force and effect as though printed in the specifications. This project is not being set aside under the Buy Indian Act, but the successful contractor will be required to comply with DIAPR Clause 1452.226-70 and 1452.226-71, which requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises. Information Regarding Bidding Material: All solicitation documents will be available as of 5/15/14 and will be accessible through http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Those bidders requesting a.pdf file of the plans can request them in writing, or email. Written request should be directed to Bureau of Indian Affairs, SPRO PO Box 368, Anadarko, Ok 73005. Attention: Sara Watkins, Contract Specialist. by email use sara.watkins@bia.gov. The Notice to Proceed will be issued July 1st, 2014, no exceptions. If the awardee is unable to start the work on this date. The award will go to the next successful bidder. The awardee is required to be actively registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of award. If the awardee is not actively register at the time of award. The award will go to the next successful bidder. For more information please go to www.sam.gov Parties interested in submitting a bid for the construction of this project, will be received and publicly opened at 3:00 p.m. (CST) Monday, June 16, 2014. Southern Plains Regional Office, 1 North on Hwy 281, Anadarko, Ok 73005. No bids by electronic means will be accepted. Bond Requirements: Irrevocable Letter of Credit or Alternative Payment Protections are required before Notice to Proceed can be issued.
