- Description
- This is not a request for a proposal, this is a notice that the National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center, Office of Purchasing and Contracts intends to award a Sole Source award to Infor, 380 St. Peter Street, St. Paul, MN 55102 for Software Support and Maintenance for the current Lawson Software System. The Government intends to award a sole source award in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions and will be made pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other will satisfy the agency requirements for the above stated service. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541519. This will be a firm fixed price purchase order. This award will be a twelve month period starting on June 1, 2014 - May 31, 2015. The contractor will provide the NIH Clinical Center Materials Management & Environmental Services Department the following support/maintenance for the Lawson applications as follows: 1. Provide product patches/repair fixes when software defects are encountered. 2. Provide access to Lawson application and technical support Engineers 3. Provide access to upgrades and conversion software 4. Provide support service tools access for Lawson Interactive Support (LIS) web notifications, web training/documentation and the Lawson knowledge Base 5. Provide 24*7 emergency support in the event of application failure 6. Provide access to approved incremental product enhancements Infor is the copyright owner for this Lawson System and is the only vendor that has the unrestricted ability to access and modify the Infor owned software products in order to provide bugs, fixes, updates and upgrades as part of the support and maintenance. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Sources interested in this requirement must provide a statement of capabilities to Deborah Culpepper, dculpepper@cc.nih.gov in writing and must be received 7 days of this synopsis date. In the email include 14-005633 as the subject. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed award based on responses from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive. No phone calls will be accepted
