- The General Services Administration announces the solicitation for the capping four(4) existing water system wells at the Jeffersonville Federal Center, Jeffersonville, Indiana. The scope of work consists of, but is not strictly limited to the following: providing all labor and materials necessary to permanently abandon and cap four water system wells. Work must be performed by either a water well driller or well pump installer licensed with the State of Indiana and the abandonment procedure must adhere to the Indiana Administrative Code(IAC). This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. Funds are currently available. The North American Industrial Classification Code(NAICS) is 238990 with a size standard of $14 million. The estimated cost range for all work is between $25,000.00 and $40,000.00. This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. The solicitation will be available on or about May 27, 2014. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as FedBizOpps(FBO). FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FedBizOpps, you will first be required to register with SAM (System for Award Management) database. You may access SAM at the following URL, www.sam.gov. At time of registration, contractors will supply company Core Data, Assertions, Representations and Certifications, and Point of Contact. Once you register with SAM you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No Federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be on, or about June 17, 2014 by 3:00pm(CST). All offers are to be submitted to the General Services Administration, Attn: Debbie Ethell, 520 South 8 th Street, Springfield, Illinois 62703.
