- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. This posting is for market research purposes only. Large businesses need not respond. The General Services Administration, Region 2, Public Buildings Service, is conducting market research to determine if there are any Service-Disabled Veteran-Owed Small Businesses (SDVOSB) & HUBZone Small Businesses (HUBZone) that have the current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described herein.   The General Services Administration, Region 2, Public Buildings Service, is seeking Repair and Alteration Services for GSA Federal Buildings located in Manhattan and Queens/Brooklyn/Long Island on an indefinite-quantity (as -needed) basis. The work involves repairs and alterations to the buildings and includes, but not limited to, demolition of building components; installation of carpet, painting, duck work, construction of partitions, doors, and frames; installation of acoustical ceilings; removal and installation of ceiling and floor tiles; removal and installation of various electrical devices and components, installation of copper tubing and check valves for domestic water supply, etc.   The contractor must be capable of performing several projects concurrently; projects may range from $2,000.00 to approximately $150,000.00 (under Simplified Acquisition Threshold). The contractor will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds on projects over $30,000.00 (FAR 28.102-1). The intended term of the contract is one-year base with four 1-year options. The Government intends to award multiple contracts for this solicitation. The Government also intends to set aside the procurement to SDVOSB and HUBZone Small Businesses only. (concerns whose average annual revenue does not exceed $33.5 million under NAICS 236220). The Government will not pay for any information received from this Sources Sought Notice. To determine the feasibility of these set- asides, ALL INTERESTED SDVOSB AND HUBZone SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT QUALIFICATIONS SHOWING EVIDENCE OF THEIR CAPABILITY TO PERFORM SUCCESSFULLY ON THESE PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTS AND SHOWING THEIR ABILITY TO MEET ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED REQUIREMENTS. BE SURE TO INDICATE STATUS AS SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED (see FAR 19.1403 for eligibility requirements), AND/OR CERTIFIED HUBZONE (see FAR 19.1303 for eligibility).
