- Description
- This synopsis is for the construction of a 13,000 (+) square foot Youth Center Annex Facility on Cannon AFB, NM. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the solicitation and all attachments. The work includes, but is not limited to, face brick and stucco exterior finishes; low slope standing seam metal roof; interior finishes; load bearing, light gauge steel framing; site work including rough grading, excavation, tree removal, backfill and final grading; site utilities including water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, electrical and telecommunications; asphalt parking lot for vehicles and concrete walks; mechanical equipment and systems; plumbing fixtures and systems; electrical service and systems; telecommunication service and systems; fire protection and fire alarm equipment and systems; equipment; landscaping. This acquisition is funded by Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) and will be solicited under full and open competitive procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220, with a size standard of $33.5 M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors. The performance period is 365 calendar days. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The estimated magnitude for the total project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be 28 May 2014. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in SAM will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. NO paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. This is a Non-Appropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Non-Appropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars.
