Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA786-14-R-0178 for the following service at Ft Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN: The intent of an awarded contract shall be to perform door replacement and framing, but not limited to: 1)Provide new 14 new exterior and interior doors and frames for the maintenance buildings at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery as indicated and specified. Provide all new hardware and closures as indicated and specified. Provide all labor, tools and necessary equipment to complete the work. Measure and inspect the doors prior to bidding. Re-measure and inspect each door and provide submittals for approval prior to the ordering of any materials. 2)All doors to be replaced whether interior or exterior are to be replaced with exterior rated doors unless approved by the engineer. 3)Seal all exterior doors for weather tightness. Hollow parts of doors to contain ridged insulation suitable for an exterior door. 4)Properly remove and dispose of existing doors framing Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to replace existing and provide new doors and door frames located in the two main maintenance building at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery as indicated and specified. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications, schedules and drawings. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation, any pertinent OSHA Occupational and Safety regulations, and any State and/or local regulations, laws and codes. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 238390. Size standard is $14Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about May 15, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due by noon EST on Friday, May 30, 2014. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. Information shall be submitted in the manner requested in FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS. Failure to submit all documentation required as required so may result in your submission being determined technically non-responsive and removed from further consideration.
