Description
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a sole source contract to Sesame Workshop, 1 Lincoln Plaza 4th FL, Ney York, NY 10023-7180 for the creation of interactive wellness mobile applications related to reintegration, a promotional campaign for the Military Families Readiness to Transition program product portfolio, the sustainment of the existing mobile applications and website, and the implementation of an outcome report for some of the mobile applications within the product portfolio. The sole source authority is FAR 6.302-1. The Military Families Readiness to Transition program provides for the development, maintenance, upgrade, and promotion of wellness tools for preschoolers (ages 2-5) of military parents/caregivers or loved ones. This program is specifically designed to enable military preschoolers to develop coping skills to handle the unique psychological challenges of living a military life full of transitions such as deployment, reintegration, and moving. The Military Families Readiness to Transition program builds on the highly successful and impactful Sesame Workshop Talk, listen, Connect and Military Family Near and Far military family initiative began in 2006. Sesame Workshop holds all rights, title, and interest (including copyright) to The Electric Company and Sesame Workshop concepts, characters, and themes.
