- NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Puget Sound detachment Naval Air Station North Island is soliciting a firm fixed price service contract for the rental of forklifts, man-lifts, booms, and scissor-lifts. (Example sizes: Forklifts: 6K, 15K, 20K; Man-lifts: Telescoping “ 60FT, 90FT, 125FT; Scissor Lifts “ 40FT) Period of performance is 7 July 2014 through 1 May 2015. Delivery is FOB Destination to Naval Air Station North Island. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside on or about 2 June 2014 with a closing date on or about 20 June 2014. When issued the solicitation will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the solicitation. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or fax requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. An email request to joshua.g.rogers1@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the solicitation from the NECO website. Only vendors registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) will be considered for contract award. Failure to respond to the electronically posted solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Procurement process will utilize FAR Parts 12 and 13.5.
