- SOW The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure Preventive Maintenance, Calibration and Emergency Repair Services on Thermotron chambers from Thermotron Industries, 291 Kollen Park Drive, Holland, MI 49423-3460. The chambers listed contain proprietary designs and components supported by Thermotron and only direct Thermotron personnel are authorize to perform any maintenance and service on the equipment. All service, repair and deliverables shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work. The quote should include a line item for the base year, emergency services and repair parts and separate line for the Option Year for the same maintenance the 2nd year. Only the services identified in the Statement of Work will be accepted; deviations will not be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System code is 811310 with a size standard of $7.0 million. The order shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please reference synopsis number N00178-14-Q-4345 in your quote. Quotes should be submitted by 12:00 noon on May 21, 2014 to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6146 Tisdale Road, Suite 235, Bldg 492, Dahlgren Virginia 22448-5158. If applicable the quote should include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
