Description
Synopsis - Vein Harvesting System (W81K00-14-T-0088) The Southern Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for a Vein Harvesting Kits for the San Antonio Military Medical Center, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The base period of performance is Date of Contract Award through 30 SEP 14, plus two (2) twelve-month option periods (through 30 SEP 2016). Items will be ordered as necessary therefore quantities may vary. Payment will be made by Government Purchase Card (GPC). The vendor must be able to accept the GPC. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is NAICS 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business Administration's size standard for NAICS 339112 is 500 Employees. The solicitation number is W81K00-14-T-0088. The solicitation will be available on/about 29 MAY 14 at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm) and FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Prospective offerors advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must register with the System for Award Management database (www.sam.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. The solicitation will close on/about 29 JUN 14. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be physically issued, and telephone and faxed requests for the solicitation will not be honored. Items must meet the following salient characteristics: SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS FOR ENDOSCOPIC VEIN HARVEST KITS 1.Shall be compatible with Valley lab generator for Bi-polar functioning. 2.EVH kits shall have single handed operation or all functions on one handle. 3.EVH kits shall capture vein in closed loop fashion to prevent missing side branches 4.Shall be FDA Approved.
