Description
Revised SOW (modified site visit date) General Scope of Work: Supplying all necessary materials, equipment, labor, disposal, and supervision to conduct the repair of the steering and autopilot system on the tug, restoring it to service. The work includes removal and disposal of old hydraulic rams and replacement with new; repair of rudder feedback control unit; replacement of mounting brackets, rudder angle indicator linkage, and rudder feedback unit linkage; rewiring of rudder feedback unit; furnish and install new rudder feedback controller; provide a technical representative to make such adjustments as are necessary and confirm proper steering system operation during sea trials after completion of repairs. Purpose of Work: To replace broken hydraulic rams and other misc. components of the steering system, reconnect the rudder feedback unit, and ensure proper steering system operation upon completion of repairs. All details are contained in the attached solicitation package. ________________________________ This is a total small business set-aside. NAICS 336611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. ________________________________ Please note the site visit is scheduled for Wednesday May 21, 2014, as noted in the attached solicitation package. All instructions and contact information are in the Statement of Work section. Award will be made to the responsible offeror that submits the lowest price. The period of performance is 14 days. Proposals are due May 23, 2014, by 12:00PM(EST).
