- AMENDMENT 0001 Amendment 0001 : This amendment is being issued to update the anticipated issue date to 6 June 2014 and anticipated closing date of 7 July 2014. An additional CLIN 0022 is included for an Offset Butt Cup for MK44 Mini. The Navy has a requirement for procurement of molded plastic inserts to secure weapons in weapon racks to be produced in accordance with Government drawings and chemical composition requirements to be provided. (See CLINs below.) A Solicitation will be issued pursuant to the procedures in FAR Part 15 for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that will cover a five-year ordering period. The IDIQ minimum quantity projected to be 10 and maximum quantity projected to be 100,000 with FOB Destination at NSWC Crane. Delivery Terms are F.O.B. Destination NSWC Crane to start 30 days after release of order. This solicitation will utilize full and open competition after exclusion of sources as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR 6.203. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer represents the best value to the government considering Product Samples, Past Performance and Price related factors. Past performance is more important than price. Multiple awards may be made. The Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
