- Description
- The U.S. Army Software Engineering Center - Fort Lee (SEC-Lee), Tactical Logistics Directorate (TLD) is seeking feedback from industry in identifying technical alternatives to support a CECOM Software Engineering Center Tactical Logistics Directorate (SEC TLD) analysis of alternatives for the integration of Information Assurance (IA) capabilities and Army Data Center Consolidation Program (ADCCP) initiatives into five existing Logistics Information Technology (Log IT) systems based on each system's architecture and current level of IA compliance. The families of system baselines for which this information is requested are: Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation Enhanced (ULLS-AE) Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) Standard Army Ammunition System- Modernization (SAAS-MOD) Information provided about each Log IT system listed should include mandatory IA requirements (e.g., The Host Based Security System (HBSS), Common Access Card (CAC)/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Active Directory (AD), Secure Hash Algorithm-256 (SHA-256), and automated patching capabilities such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)). All hardware/software solutions must be approved to operate on the Army's/ DoD's Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet). We also request responses address Army's Data Center Consolidation Program (ADCCP) requirement for systems to be able to operate at a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) datacenter. DISA requires systems to operate on virtualized machines and should be web-based. Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite communications is the means of data transfer between system nodes and interfaces with trading partner systems in tactical deployed environments. We will accept responses that address portions of this technical scope or less than all of the Log IT systems listed. The proposed approaches may not necessarily be restricted to the current system architectures (i.e. client/server, web based, etc). However, the hosts (laptops, workstations, etc) in a proposed architecture must be compliant with the DoD capabilities required. For additional information, please refer to attached document. See attached Request for Information attached hereto. This notice is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY and is not intended to solicit proposals however, the government will use the sources sought notice for market research purposes. The NAISC Code is 511210 however, if other NAISC codes should be considered, industry should include this in their response. All potential sources interested in submitting a response shall identify their capabilies and provide any literature along with their company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address and size status to Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), ATTN: Terry Hyatt-Amabile, 1830 Quartermaster Road, Bldg 7124, Fort Lee, VA 23801-1606, email: terry.a.hyattamabile.civ@mail.mil, telephone (804) 734-4608.
