All shipping to Tracy CA for export. 8030-00-244-1294 UI: DR CORROSION PREVENTIVE COMPOUND: DESCRIPTION In accordance with Military Specification MIL-PRF-16173E, Corrosion Preventive Compound, Solvent Cutback, Cold-Application, with Interim Amendment 1 dated September 7, 2006. QPL qualification required: QPL transformed to QPD, October 29, 2008. Please go to http://quicksearch.dla.mil/, and follow the steps below to view the QPD. 1. input "16173" in document Number field and click "Submit" 2. Click on the primary specification link in "Document ID" column. 3. click on "Qualification" in the "Overview" section to view the QPD. Class 1: high VOC, exceeding 2.8 lb/gl (340 g/l) Grade 3: water displacing, soft film Size: The product shall be furnished in 55 gallon quantities in new, straight-sided, cylindrical steel drums of the type normally used for this product, providing that there will be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the container or alter the strength, quality or purity of the contents. The filled drums shall be closed in a manner that will insure that the contents will not spill or leak from the container during shipment, handling, storage and redistribution. The drums shall, as a minimum, meet the applicable requirements of the National Motor Freight Classification, Uniform Freight Classification, and the Department of Transportation regulations. Shelf life code: 6 (2 years) Maximum age on delivery: 4 months See attached for complete item purchase description Successful offeror must be currently active in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). See attached for complete description and applicable clauses. Marking in accordance with MIL-STD-129 is required. Award will be based on (1) Price, (2) Shipment Days (1) Price will be evaluated first and is most important. (2) Shipment is requested in 30 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO). Shipment is the second most important factor. In the case that one or more vendors are equal in price, award will be made to the best shipment time under the required 30 DARO.
