- THE DATES INCLUDED IN THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ARE APPROXIMATE AND MAY CHANGE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION. THE ACTUAL DATES WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AT THE TIME IT IS ISSUED TO FEDBIZOPPS (www.FBO.gov). PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE SYNOPSIS FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION INCUDED IN THE DESCRIPTION Reclamation's Great Plains Regional office intends to solicit quotations for Crane and counterweight Rental with Operator. The work under this requirement will included providing all items, materials, equipment, power, and labor to furnish, deliver, and operate all necessities for a crane and its use for the Reclamation grouting program. It is anticipated that all crane use activities for the spillway and the outlet works stilling basins will occur on four different days. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be available for viewing at www.FBO.gov on or after May 21, 2014. Quotes are tentatively due before Close of Business (COB) May 30, 2014 in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 2021 4th Ave North, Billings MT 59101. The magnitude of this acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System code is 532490. The Small Business Size Standard is $30 Million. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. Effective July 29, 2012, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website that consolidates the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), and the Excluded Parties List System (EPLS). The vendor's Duns & Bradstreet number and banking information are required for registration. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the SAM website accessed through https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ or by contacting the Federal Service Desk at 1-866-606-8220.
