THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center, 4101 S Fourth St, Leavenworth, KS, is seeking a potential qualified contractor to provide a service maintenance agreement for Belimed sterilizer equipment: DescriptionModel Sterilizer, Steam 9615HS1 Sterilizer, Steam 9615HS1 Drying Cabinet DC136 Ultrasonic Cleaner UC0246C Washer/Disinfector WD290-09MS2 Washer/Disinfector WD290-09MS2 RO Water System HC-2046 Service agreement for annual certification, preventive maintenance, and service to include all replacement parts, software updates, labor, travel expenses, tools, test equipment and other incidentals necessary to maintain or restore the listed equipment to operating specifications which meet or exceed the manufacturers' specifications. Contractor shall provide hardcopy proof, upon request, that contracting entity is a certified manufacturer service provider and that technicians are current in device certification training. All services shall meet ISO specifications of documentation which include calibrations traceability to NIST standards. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned small Business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUBZone business and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. Notice to potential offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. All interested Offerors should submit information by e-mail: to Michelle.Avery@va.gov. All information submissions should be received no later than 1:00 pm CST on May 22, 2013. This Sources sought is for informational purposes and all businesses able to provide this equipment are encouraged to submit information regardless of business size. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any direct or indirect costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements.
