Combined Synopsis /Solicitation THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AN AWARD under FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The FDA intends to award a sole source purchase order to; Pacific Biosciences, 1380 Willow Rd, Menlo Park CA, 94025 for SMRT Cell Reagents. Pacific BioSciences is the sole manufacturer and seller for the PacBio®RS System and associated SMRT® Cells and Reagents creating a platform for sequencing with singular molecular resolution. Stock numbers: #100-133-600-Mag Bead Kit #100-259-100-SMRTbell (TM) template prep kit #100-216-400-DNA Sequencing Kit #100-236-500-DNA/Polymerase binding kit #100-209-300-SMRT cell oil #100-265-900-Ampure pB beads #001-292-541-Septa #100-237-900-Sequencing Plate #100-286-300-SMRTbell (HT) template prep kit #000-082-901-Sample plate septa The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334516. The size standard is 500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, firms with expressed interest may respond within 10 days from the date of this posting. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is at the sole discretion of the Government.
