Description
Formal communication related to this acquisition should be directed to Arneke Ivy, Contract Specialist. You may fax or mail your request to ATTN: DLA-AV HSV (DLA-HSV), email: Arneke.Ivy@dla.mil. Fax number: (256) 955-8601. No telephone requests will be accepted. Please include solicitation number and your direct contact information (i.e. email address, mailing address and telephone number). RFP will be issued to: AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES, Cage 1LQK8 and is to be acquired for the first time directly from the actual manufacturer. This part is a commercial/non-developmental/off-the-shelf item. All offers' must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. NOTE 22 - The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with limited (2) sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
