- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of the solicitation for : Repair Interior and Exterior HH-60 Unscheduled Maintenance Hangar, Bldg 750, Project Number SXHT 12-1259 on Patrick Air Force Base, FL. Contractor will be required to provide all labor and material to repair lower portions of existing steel columns at south-east and south-west corners of High Bay; remove and replace existing rusted bracing at south wall, east and west bays. Clean and paint horizontal roof bracing and struts in designated areas as shown on plans. Clean and refinish existing metal High Bay personnel doors at north wing shops and offices. Repair and/or replacement existing panel boards, panels, safety switches, disconnects, control and contactor panels, lighting contactors, hangar door controller and operator panels, and various device enclosures as shown on plans. Solicitation issue date on or about 5 June 2014 and proposal closing date of 7 July 2014 are tentative. The applicable NAICS Code and size standard for this acquisition are 236220/$33.5M. The estimated range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation is set aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Small Business Concerns. Contract award will be based on a best value analysis using Lowest-Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures.
