- Description
- The Government has a need for Engineering Services to support aircraft onboarding support analysis for the development, integration, implementation and or fielding of new US Forest Service assets (C-13H aircraft) and US Coast Guard assets (C27J aircraft) into existing US Coast Guard asset systems. This will be accomplished by focusing on mission requirements, standardization, configuration management and control, and inventory management across agency programs and/or interagency programs. Work will be performed predominately in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Washington, D.C. as specified in the solicitation. Various Key Personnel are required and duties may include program and project portfolio management support, operations and management strategy development, safety program support, economic analysis, supportability services, technology insertion, and acquisition program support. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for one year with the option to extend the term of the contract at the unilateral discretion of the Government for an additional four, one year options. The contractor shall propose hourly rates and task orders will be issued predominately on a fixed price bases based on the number of hours estimated to perform the work times the offered rates. The services are set-aside for small business. Performance will predominately be conducted in Elizabeth City, NC and Washington, D.C. however, work may occur at location throughout the US. Travel to support services at other than Elizabeth City, NC and Washington, D.C. will be authorized by task orders and payment for travel will be made in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR subpart 13.5, Test Program For Certain Commercial Items.
