- Sign in and Pre-proposal Conference Slides Amendment 0002 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING ON OR ABOUT 6 MAY 2014. This is not a request for either a quote or proposal or an invitation for bid. This procurement is to provide armed security guard services to include harbor patrol services for Naval Magazine Indian Island, Port Hadlock, Washington. This requirement will be performance based. The solicitation number for this procurement will be N44255-13-R-0007 and will be a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 561612 and the annual small business size standard is $19M dollars. The Government will only accept offers from small businesses. The solicitation will utilize source selection procedures which require offerors to submit technical information, past performance, experience information, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. This acquisition will result in one Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract term will be a base period of one year with four one year option periods, for a total contract performance period not to exceed five years. This contract will replace contract N44255-09-D-5000, awarded in 2009 for similar services. Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The anticipated date of Request for Proposal (RFP) issuance is on or about 6 May 2014.
