This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in Planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below: 1. Background. 1st SFG(A) has an ongoing requirement for Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP) and Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP). This contract will provide 1st SFG(A) with the ability to support Combatives training as specified herein. Narrative Description of Training Objectives. The vendor shall provide Combatives training to include SOCP, MACP, and Combatives Conditioning. The testing modality in regards to this training is IAW H2H Combat Manual, 2011 and Combatives Field Manual FM 3-25.150, 2009. The vendor must compliment the training strategies/approach to meet the government end state proficiency requirements. Qualifying/Certifying Soldiers SOCP Level 1, SOCP Instructor level, and MACP Level 1 & 2. The vendor must be SOCP/MACP certified and have the capability of conducting SOCP/MACP training that will culminate with student certification/qualification. Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a statement via e-mail. Responses are due no later than 5:00 pm PST, Thursday, 29 May 2014, and shall be electronically submitted to bryson.r.rossol.mil@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests.
