Description

The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source compatibility and proprietary issues. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with TA Instruments, Waters LLC, 159 Lukens Dr., New Castle, DE 19720 for Thermal Analysis Suite Equipment to include: -One (1) Differential Scanning Calorimetry, (DSC) (and all associated hardware and accessories) -One (1) thermal gravimetric analysis-mass spectrometry (TGA-MS) (and all associated hardware and accessories) -One (1) Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) (and all associated hardware and accessories) -One (1) Thermal Conductivity Measurement (TCM) (and all associated hardware and accessories) -Un-Keyed software and site license for the Suite (to be installed on unlimited number of computers) - Installation and Training. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
