J&A 14-P-P45H89 - HEA Turbocharger Rprs TurbochargerOverhaul SOW FY15 Rev 0 The Surface Forces Logistics Center, Long-Range Enforcer Product Line is announcing the solicitation of a quotation from ABB Inc. for long lead time materials and overhaul technical support for the ABB turbochargers installed on CGC HEALY's Main Diesel Engine Nos. 1, 3 & 4. Base Seattle Industrial Operations Division will perform the overhaul under oversight provided by ABB Inc. ABB Inc. was the only respondent to the Sources Sought Notice HSCG85-14-I-HEATURB, active 5/1/14 - 5/16/14. It is SFLC's view that ABB Inc. is the only firm capable of meeting this requirement. However, SFLC will consider offers from all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and/or quotation. That capability statement must provide at a minimum (as indicated earlier in the Sources Sought Notice) written evidence from ABB that it is authorized and certified by that company to act in this capacity on these 6 EA particular model turbochargers. The specification is attached to this pre-solicitation notice. The period of performance will commence immediately after award with the procurment of long lead time materials. Work on the vessel's turbochargers will commence in September 2014 when the vessel returns to homeport and continue through April 2015.
