Description
The U.S. Army has a requirement to provide labor, material and equipment necessary to install an Above Ground Storage Tank (AST), along with fuel dispensers and fuel management system, tank foundation pad, and refueling pad. The removal work includes, but is not limited to: All supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all operations (site preparation, equipment installation, and start-up) required to complete system ready for use. Construct in accordance with (IAW) industry standards and sound engineering practices a reinforced concrete foundation designed to support a 1,000 gallon Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) and a reinforced concrete refueling pad (17' x 30' x 6 quote mark ). Responsible for all necessary site preparation to include: soil excavation, grading, and stabilization of surrounding areas. Responsible for the handling, securing, and installation of a 1,000 gallon rectangular concrete reinforced dual compartmental AST system (750 gallon diesel and 250 gallon gasoline). Responsible for the installation of all control panels, circuit breakers, conduit, wiring, and connections of all associated electrical components and equipment IAW manufacturer installation guidance. Responsible for the installation of fuel dispensers for diesel and gasoline (with approved and certified vapor recovery system that meet or exceed federal and Commonwealth of Massachusetts regulations), electronic fuel inventory management system, tank monitoring systems (high level alarm and leak detection sensors), emergency shut-off, and all other associated parts and accessories. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors. The Small business size is $14 Million. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance is 60 calendar days. This requirement is subject to the Davis Bacon Act. The request for quote will be made available on the webpage on or about 6 Jun 2014. This is 100 percent Small Business Hubzone Set-Aside. This is subject to availability of funds.. Work will be performed at the Soldier System Center, Kansas Street. Natick Massachusetts 01760. The site visit will be 12 June 2014 at 10:00 AM EST. Interested parties shall contact Mr. Paul Hannah at 508-233-6166 prior to 12:00 PM EST 10 June 2014 of their intention to attend the site visit.
