- Notice Type: Special Notice - Per 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) FAR 6.302-2 - Unusual and Compelling Urgency Original Set Aside: N/A Set Aside: Total Small Business Classification Code: U014 NAICS Code: 611420 Synopsis: Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to award a sole-source contract with Chiron Technology Services, Inc. for the following service: Two Sessions (Cyber Classes) Hunting the Adversary Course - Black Team Threat Mitigation and Defense Strategies - Blue Team Training must begin NLT 9 Jun 2014 The NAICS code is 511420. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (2), Unusual and Compelling Urgency. An urgent and compelling need exists, and unacceptable delays will impact the Government. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government and you may be considered for the next requirement. If no affirmative written responses are emailed and received by 10a.m. EST on 27 May 2014, an award will be made without further notice. Emails may be sent to Cheryl C. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
