Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Water Treatment Specialists, PO Box 11609, Caparra Heights Station, San Juan, P.R. 00922 for the preventive maintenance, repairs, parts and labor, and sanitation of the Culligan equipment's located at Laboratory Service, Main Building and the Hemodialysis Clinic at 2nd floor, Outpatient Annex (OPA) Building. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 221310 and the size standard is $7M in revenues. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation package is available. However, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities by May 28, 2014 at 10 AM EST, local time Puerto Rico. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
