- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to correct the quantity of Compact Flash REad Write Devices. The correct quantity is fifty (50). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure on a non-competitive basis thirty (30) upgraded Replacement Data Storage Systems and fifty (50) upgraded compact Flash Read Write Devices of the P-3 aircraft. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to the PSI Repair Services, 11900 Mayfield St, Livonia MI 48150-1733. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only responsible source to perform this effort. The US government does not own the technical data required to competitively award this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
