This combined synopsis/solicitation is amended to correct the NAICS Code from 339112 to 339113 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (1) The solicitation number VA259-14-Q-0471 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (2) This solicitation is set-aside for 100% Small Business under NAICS code 339113. The unique surgery spares muscle tissue, reduces post-operative pain and shortens recovery time. With this procedure, patients are able to begin walking immediately after surgery. They overwhelmingly experience less pain and are able to forgo narcotics following surgery.
