- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with or attached to this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. The Request for Quote ( RFQ ) number is N62306-14-T-2007. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-73 and DFARS Changes Notice 20140506. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www. acqnet.gov/far and http :// www. acq. osd.mil/ dpap / dars / dfars / html /current/252201. htm. The NAICS code is 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. The Small Business size standard is 500 Employees. The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Canadian Commercial Corporation as the prime contractor and AML Oceanographic LTD 2071 Malaview Ave, Sidney, BC V8L5X6 as the subcontractor in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) Sole Source. The requirement is in accordance with the Statement of Work that describes the acquisition to maintain existing Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP) 300 systems to include Micro Sound Velocity Temperature and Pressure (SVXTP) sensors and for the calibration, repair and replace components used by the Naval Oceanographic Office. This requirement will have approximately Base period: 12 SVXTP Probes calibrated, 4 micro CTD probes repaired and the purchase of two (2) probes for the period ending 10 Jun 2014. Option One: 16 SVXTP Probes calibrated, 2 micro CTD probes repaired and the purchase of two (2) probes for the period ending 10 Jun 2015. Option Two: 16 SVXTP Probes calibrated, 2 micro CTD probes repaired and the purchase of two (2) probes for the period ending 10Jun 2016. The Contacting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor for Option One and Option Two within 30 days of the Option. The Government reserves the right to make one, multiple or no award resulting from this solicitation. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -Commercial Item; FAR 52.212-3 and its ALT 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Item; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Item; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Item, and FAR 52.217-7, Option for Increase Quantity-Separately Priced Line Item. Quoters are reminded to include a complete copy of FAR 52.212-3 and its ALT I with quotes. Additional contract terms and conditions applicable to this procurement are: FAR 52.237-34 FOB Destination, FAR 52.247-55 FOB Point for Delivery of Government Furnished Property. Contractor shall provide Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractor must be registered in the SAM at www. sam.gov and Wide Area Work Flow at https :// wawf. eb.mil to be considered for award. Quote shall include price(s), a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms. Response must clearly indicate the capability of the offeror to meet all specifications and requirements. The anticipated award date is estimated around 20 Jun 2014. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
