The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, Western Service Area, is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB 8(a)), Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), etc. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. No contract of any kind will be a result of this announcement. The purpose of this Market Survey is to seek competent and qualified contractors to perform all work necessary for the installation/relocation of a Glide Slope (GS) facility and Electrical Transformer at the Cordova Municipal Airport in Cordova, Alaska. The NAICS code for this project is: 237130 - Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $33.5 million. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. The following is a general summary of the work: GS Antenna Tower -Demolition of existing GS antenna tower foundation -Disassembly of existing antenna tower -Construction of new tower foundation -Reassembly of existing antenna tower onto new foundation -Installation of new conduits, wiring, and ground system -Provide all labor and materials to return GS facility to service GS Electrical Transformer -Demolition of existing transformer foundation -Construction of new transformer foundation -Relocate transformer to new foundation -Installation of new conduits, wiring, and ground system -Provide all labor and materials to return transformer to service The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials (except Government furnished), services, equipment, insurance, bonds, security notifications, licenses, permits, and fees in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements to complete the specified work. All work must be completed within 14 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. NTP is expected to be issued within three weeks after notice of contract award, or as arranged by the FAA Project Engineer. Responses to this Market Survey: **Reference 16504 Cordova GS in all email and correspondence.** Interested parties - return the attached Business Declaration form by email and SEDB 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released.
