Subject: VA Supplier Relationship Management webinar The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition and Logistics invite you to participate in its second Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) webinar of 2014, hosted by Barbaricum. The SRM initiative is part of VA's broader effort to improve the end-to-end acquisition process, which capitalizes on industry expertise in an effort to strengthen the VA process as a whole. During the webinar, Mr. Thomas Burgess, Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, will discuss "The Golden Rules of SRM: Tips for Working with the VA." Mr. Burgess will talk about how to navigate VA acquisition processes, and how suppliers can make the most of their existing contracts. A question and answer period will follow.
