Description

J&A NSBC The US Coast Guard Base Boston intends to procure the following supplies: National Safe Boating Council Education kits--inflatable life jacket education kits, beltpack education kits, boating education kits, CO2 re-arming kits--from the National Safe Boating Council 9500 Technology Drive, Manassas VA 20110. The US Coast Guard intends to purchase these NSBC education kits from the National Safe Boating Council as the only supplier for these supplies. Reference also: CGDONEINST 16750.1. The proposed action is for commercial supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under theauthority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-3. Interested parties may identify their interest and respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for hte purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
