Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hampton VAMC, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Duke University, 905 W Main Street, Durham, NC 27701 for the 2014 Mental Health Community Summits for VISN 6. Period of performance is 1 June thru 31 August 2014. Summits are to commence in July 2014 and be conducted at each VISN 6 Medical Centers. The Contractor shall coordinate the collaborative meetings with each site to develop event objectives, engaging agendas, productive discussion groups. The contractor shall support the communication, preparation and on-site facilitation for these events. As a partner in hosting each site's summit, the contractor shall assist in the summarization of events learnings and the development of the After Action Report. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past experience and expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government No telephone request will be accepted. NAICS Code 541611/$7 million. Responses received by 3:00 pm est on 5/30/14 will be considered by the Government.
