Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposals or quotes. This document does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this document is not to provide notice of the Governments' intent to post a future solicitation. Responses to this announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After the responses to this announcement are reviewed the Government may issue a Request for Quote solicitation for Valet Parking under NAICS code 812930 - Parking Lots and Garages. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 3, is conducting preliminary market research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to support a prospective project for Valet Parking for the New Jersey Healthcare System - East Orange Campus, East Orange, NJ and the Brick CBOC in Brick, NJ. Based on current operations, it is estimated that on the East Orange campus, the Contractor will be required to park and/or provide assistance in parking and returning approximately 500 cars per day Monday-Wednesday-Friday and between 600-800 on Tuesdays and Thursdays during normal hours of operation. The prospective performance period is to be determined. Place of Performance Items are to be delivered to the New Jersey Healthcare System - East Orange Campus, East Orange, NJ. If your organization has the ability to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, and business size and type according to this NAICS code; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 4:00 pm (EST) on 10 June 2014.
