Description
*** 27 May 2014 *** There were a few questions that were asked regarding this solicitation. The questions were forwarded to the engineer and he provided his response. Questions and responses are listed below. Also, the due date for offers is extended to 5 June 2014, 2 pm EDT. 1. Ref 4.7 Power - Are you OK with a submitted solution which is "either/or" rather than switchable with respect to power supply voltage and current combination? Response: The "either-or" solution is fine. 2. Ref 4.2 Multiple Test Probes - Please clarify the requirement that the bath "shall be capable of holding at least four test instrument probes or glass thermometers plus a standard external reference probe simultaneously while maintaining the test temperature and temperature stability stated above. " Do you require a specialized mounting/holding kit or just enough size/capacity to insert all those probes? Response: Bath must have the capacity for the probes, but no special holding device was mentioned in the Purchase Description. 3. Ref 3.3 Fluid Media - What fluids do you want supplied with the baths? Three fluids are typically used for this range of temperature. If we must include fluids, please define what fluids are needed and what range of temperatures must be covered by the fluids. The one that covers high temps ~ 300C is especially expensive. Many times the baths are not used through the entire range, if this is known, it can help with Fluid selection. Response: Bath is expected to come with fluids needed to cover the stated temperature range.
