Description

The Dorn VA Medical Center, (DVAMC) located in Columbia, South Carolina intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Petroleum Traders Corporation, 7120 Pointe Invarness Way, Fort Wayne, Indiana 40804 (800-348-3706, x1002) for the purchase of 30,000 gallons of ultra low sulfur fuel oil content of.20%. An existing Defense Logistics Agency Energy contract will be used, specifically SP0600-13-D-8523 to order this fuel. The contract with be for (1) one year with (4) four option years. The government plans to solicit and make an award for this requirement to only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253 (1). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No Solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 3 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
