- Specification for Continuous Batch Washer System This notice is issued by the 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan as a Sources Sought notice (SS) to solicit responses from interested parties. This notice is for information and planning purposes only. This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Sources Sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. No awards will be issued as a result of this SS. The 18th Contracting Squadron does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of this Sources Sought, the 18th Contracting Squadron may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; however, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against 18th Contracting Squadron shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought or the 18th Contracting Squadron's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify qualified businesses that are interested in and capable of providing the equipment described in the attached Specification. Contractor must be capable of providing installation, startup and training on Okinawa, Japan. Respondents shall email their responses to joseph.wells.4@us.af.mil NO LATER THAN 4 JUNE 2014, 1000Hrs Japan Standard Time.
