The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered; however, it is the Government's intent to award a sole-source purchase order Wind River Systems. This procurement is for Brand-Name purchase of Wind River general purpose platform VxWork operating System for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, development, and Software Engineering Directorate. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in it offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. Delivery is FOB Destination, 30 days after the date of contract award. Delivery Address: US Army RDECOM, SED RDMR-BAW Building 6263, Hackberry Road Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5260 Proposals must be submitted to Hunter Hall via email at john.h.hall178.civ@mail.mil no later than Monday 02 June 2014 1500 CST. Questions must be submitted to Hunter Hall no later than Friday 30 May 2014 1500 CST. All questions will be answered in an amendment to this solicitation and distributed to all interested vendors. No other brands will be accepted IAW (FAR) 3.302-1(c)(1). Please see the attached Documents further information.
