- Industry Day Instructions Participants must reply to this announcement no later than June 8th, 2014 at 1700 EDT. Provide the following. Company Name Number of attendees Last Name, First Name of attendees Telephone number and primary point of contact. Send information via email to chanel.d.williams.civ@mail.mil Visitors should plan on being at ATC for the day. Starting time will be 0800 hrs at our location. The Government will provide transportation in and out of the restricted area from building 324. They should allow 30 minutes to get from APG security at the Rt. 715 entrance to B324 (ATC security). There is parking at B324 to leave their cars for the day. No cameras or photos are allowed. Participants should dress with closed toed shoes (steel toed preferred) and long pants. Hearing protection will be provided. Presume to be outside all of the day. Follow the instructions in the visitors guide on the ATC website www.atc.army.mil Fact Sheet - APG Entrance Requirements Harford Gate (Rt22) in the Aberdeen Area and the Wise Road Gate in the Edgewood Area will only admit vehicles containing Government ID cardholders. Visitors and commercial vehicles will not be permitted access to APG through these gates. All commercial vehicles and visitors (those that will require the Day Pass) must process through the Visitor Center at Maryland Gate (Rt. 715) in the AA and Rt 24 Gate in EA. These gates will remain the 24-hour access points for APG. Government ID card holders may use these gates at any time. quote mark Vouching quote mark for passengers by a Government ID card holder is permitted, as long as all persons in the vehicle have valid photo ID. Day passes will only be valid for the date issued. Weekly passes are available for new employees that have not yet been provided CAC or other Gov't ID. A weekly pass is available for extended visitors upon written request of sponsoring activity. Additionally, there is an extended pass available for BRAC construction traffic, Education Center students/instructors and students/instructors attending training at MFRI. All personnel desiring access to APG via a day pass must possess some form of valid photo ID, i.e. Driver's License, Passport etc. This policy includes vehicle passengers, with the exception of minors. Those without valid photo ID will be denied entrance. Visitors must have a destination on APG to be granted access. A desire to simply quote mark look around quote mark will not permit access to APG. Those expecting commercial vehicles and/or visitors are highly encouraged to schedule their arrival before or after peak morning traffic hours. Doing so will help minimize morning rush hour gridlock at the visitor gates. There is limited space at these gates and an influx of visitors at peak traffic hours can only serve to significantly delay the workforce from entering APG.
