Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. PRODUCT: RENEWAL OF ORACLE PREMIER SUPPORT FOR SYSTEMS ONLY ORACLE/SUN OR ORACLE/SUN CERTIFIED RESELLERS SHALL RESPOND TO THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ). THIS REQUIREMENT IS A SOLE SOURCE FOR ORACLE/SUN SUPPORT. The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. The brand name and model number of the product is: Oracle/Sun Oracle Premier Support for Systems. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-14-T-Z217. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 05-72 and DFARS Change Notice 20131231. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, ORACLE /SUN AND its RESELELRS, under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. Delivery: 17 JULY 2014 THROUGH 16 JULY 2015; Place of Performance: Joint Chiefs of Staff, J7, JED, 849 Levy Street, Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5363. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The applicable Far clauses are included in the attached RFQ document. Quoters are reminded to include a completed copy of 52.212-3 and it ™s ALT I with quotes. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the order. The Government intends to award a single award purchase order based on the initial quotes. Evaluation of quotations will be based upon lowest price, technically acceptable quotations. Only quoters that are authorized Oracle/Sun resellers will be considered. System for Award Management (SAM). Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements. Solicitation N00189-14-T-Z217 is posted to NECO website concurrent with this announcement. This announcement will close at 11:00 AM Eastern Time on June 09, 2014.
