- Description
- The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), is soliciting a requirement for 4,000 - 5/16" by 1 1/8" open face links, and 2,000 - 2" diameter by 5/16" steel rings, according to the specifications, to be used to construct scallop dredges. This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331221, which has a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-73, effective 29 April 2014. Solicitation number NFFM7220-14-02287 will be issued May 29, 2014 and will close June 5, 2014 at 1PM. The Government will issue a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, results in the best value to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about June 10, 2014. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Prospective contractors must register in the Systems for Award Management (SAM.gov) prior to award. Bidders are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award.
