Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to solicit and procure two (2) brand name LEICA Microtome Systems for the Pathology Specimen Processing at the VA Maine Lab. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, delivery, installation, training and warranty for the brand name Leica RM2255 Configuration 2 PN#1492255UH01 and FOOT Switch RM22 PN# 14050238257. The applicable NAICS code is 334516, with a 500 employee size standard. The FSC/PSC is 6515. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside and will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about 5/28/2014. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. Service Disabled and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB and VOSB) contracting with VA are to be registered and certified in VetBiz if seeking consideration under PL 109-461 (www.vetbiz.gov - Vendor Information Pages - VIP). All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management, prior to award of the contract. Registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov.
