- This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quotation (RFQ); it is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP or as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Require the following: Specifications: a. Capable of producing the following wave forms: sine, square, ramp, triangle, pulse, noise, DC, exponential rise I fall, negative ramp, and sin(x)/x. b. Provide a digital display and the following interface specifications: USB, LAN, GPIB. c. Capable of providing the following specific characteristics for each waveform. Sine: frequency range 1 J. Hz - 50 MHz Square: frequency range 1 Hz - 25 MHz, rise/fall time less than 10 ns Ramp I Triangle: frequency range I J. Hz- 200kHz, linearity less than 0.25% of peak Output Pulse: frequency range 500 J. Hz - 10 MHz, pulse width 20 ns min and 10 ns Resolution for period 1Os Arbitrary: frequency range 1 Hz - 10 MHz Common characteristics for all waveforms: frequency resolution 1 Hz, Amplitude range 10m Vpp to 50 and 20m Vpp to Hi-Z, main output impedance 50 internal frequency reference accuracy 10 ppm in 90 days & 20 ppm in l year d. Capable of providing the following modulation types: AM, FM, PM, PWM, FSK, sweep, and burst. e. Capable of providing the following pattern mode characteristics: clock maximum rate 50 MHz, output level TTL compatible into ::0: 2k, and output impedance 110. f. Capable of providing the following general specifications: input power (power supply) 110-240 VAC, power consumption 50VA max, operating environment 0 C to 50 C, storage Environment -30 C to 70 C. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All responsible parties that feel they can provide this service should forward their capabilities in writing to Joseph.r.Bloss@us.army.mil.
