- The Fixed Wing Project Office (FW PO) - announces: US ARMY FIXED WING INDUSTRY DAY THEME: US Army Fixed Wing: Current Operations & Future Outlook PURPOSE: The event is not intended to present topics of broad interest to a wide audience, but to fulfill PM Fixed Wing's responsibility to provide a Fixed Wing briefing to the Fixed Wing Aviation industry. The stated purpose of the industry day is to provide an in-depth briefing devoted to PM Fixed Wing initiatives and near-term information related to acquisitions as the FW PO continues to transition into the one stop office for all Army FW aircraft. The briefings will be primarily technical in nature and focus on new technologies and potential acquisition opportunities in defined subject areas occurring in the next few years. PARTICIPATION: Open to all industry and government agencies interested in Army Fixed Wing (no TDY compensation will be provided). LOCATION/DATE: Briefings will be conducted at the Community Activity Center (CAC), Bldg 3711, (on the east side of the Aerobee and Patton Roads intersection), Redstone Arsenal, AL 35806, the morning of 29 July 14. Appointments with FW PO personnel will be conducted the afternoon of 29 July 14 at the CAC based on interest. Agenda: 29 July 2014: 0745-0800 Personnel arrive and are seated 0800-0815 Welcome and admin announcements 0815-0900 FW PO Overview 0900-0930 Break 0930-1000 Special Electronics Mission Aircraft (SEMA) Product Manager 1000-1030 Transport (TRA) Product Manager 1030-1100 FMS 1100-1130 Q&A 1130-1300 Lunch 1300-1630 Appointments Proposed attendees are required to provide the following information for each attendee: Name: Company Name: Position Title: Mailing address: Cell phone number: Email address: MUST indicate if individual will need to be on the Redstone Arsenal Access List FOR MAIN Gate #9 entry. Also, indicate if separate appointment with Project Office personnel is requested - indicate by name, position, and/or office. If requested, annotate briefly the nature of your discussion? NOTE: There will be no briefs at these appointments, and designated times will be strictly adhered to. Individual appointments will be adjusted accordingly for time available in the afternoon. All requests for appointments must be received by 11 July 14. Requests will be assigned a time and location and disseminated by 18 July 14 via the email addresses provided. NOTE: There are no facilities, or space, allocated for displays or booths. Provide your attendee and appointment request information to Colbert Gautreaux, colbert.t.gautreaux.ctr@mail.mil.
