- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 1 is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH SURVEY for the West Haven VAMC to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified large business sources (2) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (3) whether they are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Small Business, HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and (4) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Veterans Administration Medical Center West Haven is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek businesses that can supply a new Medtronic Cranial Surgical Navigation System- S7 Advanced Surgical System and Software. Offerors under this proposal shall provide all equipment, accessories, applicable training, and manuals. The Stealth Navigation System and its services provided is used to help the surgeon navigate to where the tumor is actually located on the image. It is a stand-alone system and does not require the use of our local network. Once it is determined by the image, where the lesion is located, the surgeon then proceeds to remove the tumor. The StealthStation S7 interfaces with multiple intraoperative imaging systems, including iMRI, iCT, C-arms, and the O-arm ® System - Medtronic's versatile 3D imaging and 2D fluoroscopy systems. The S7 Interfaces with DICOM and provide Query/Retrieve to search, view and download patient exams. System includes a 24 inch high resolution monitor and is MP3 Music Ready. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339112, Size Standard: 500 Employees and the Classification code is 6515. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is NOT a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large) and DUNS Number. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information which demonstrates the ability to meet the Government's need.
