Description
Solicitation FA5209-14-T-0124 The Contractor shall provide all engineering support, designing effort, all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in the Scope of Work (SOW) for Project No. ZNRE 12-1802, Install Occupancy Sensors in Dormitory Common Areas, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Perform all work indicated in the SOW, which will be included in the solicitation package. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Furnish all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these specifications for Project Number ZNRE 12-1802, Install Occupancy Sensors in Dormitory Common Areas, Yokota AB, Japan. A. The following scope of work is expressed in general terms and in no way limits the contractor's responsibility. Perform all work indicated in these specifications or accompanying drawings. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of this contract. B. Electrical Work Scope: The contractor shall perform site survey and study each project site to verify the existing condition such as electric voltage, type of lighting fixture, installation location etc. After completion of the site survey, the contractor performs the following work. 1) Bldg 124, 125, 330, 331 and 421 a) Install occupancy sensor at each hallway light. b) Install occupancy sensor and change over switch at each lounge and common toilet. c) Replace fluorescent lamp of existing fixtures at hallway, lounge and common toilet with new. 2) Bldg 220 and 413 a) Install occupancy sensor at each hallway light. b) Install occupancy sensor and change over switch at laundry. c) Replace fluorescent lamp of existing fixtures at hallway, lounge and laundry with new. The magnitude of this project is expected between Y2,598,598 and Y10,394,390 in accordance with FAR 36.204 (c), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. For more details will be posted when determined. The site visit is scheduled on 11 Jun 14 at 1000 hours, JST. *Offirors are urged and expected to attend the site visit. If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 930 hours to obtain the pass. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's lisence with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper ORIGINAL insurance docuemnts. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base. NOTE: THIS NOTICE IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 5.202(a)(12). LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
