Description

The VA Central Healthcare System (VACCHCS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with GE Medical System. The proposed contract action is for an upgrade to our facilities ASCOM communication system to reduce down time and integrate the current system into our medical network. Key System Features and Processes oConnection to IP PBX via LAN oDECT GAP/CAP radio interface oSupports H.323 or SIP protocol over IP oSupports secure SIP over TLS and SRTP oPlug-and-Play installation oOn-air synchronization oWeb interface for configuration and software upgrade oPower over Ethernet or local power supply oCompact lightweight design oEasy installation in minimal space to flat or round surfaces oExternal LED status indication oRoaming and handover oMessaging, Alarm and Interactive Messaging oBroadcast messaging oCan handle 8 simultaneous calls oDimensions - 170 × 170 × 38 mm This sole source action is in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer for consideration. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements. Responses are due by 06/16/2014 at 2:00 PM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be e-mailed to Orville.Landicho@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability statements will be provided by the Government.
