Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, TDAT Contracting Office in Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse, mental health, and sex offender treatment services. The location where treatment services are to be provided shall be with a contractor in Del Rio, Texas within a 5 mile radius of 1306 East Gibbs Street, Del Rio, Texas 78840 and must be in the United States and also, shall be accessible to local public transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on August 1, 2014 with two (2) one-year option periods, with services ending (if all options years are renewed) on July 31, 2017. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, and Option Year Two, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 60: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 60 inmates = 60 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute =1 unit) 24 units (per inmate) x 60 Inmates = 1,440 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 60 Inmates = 4,320 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 5 Inmates = 60 sessions; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 6 Inmates = 6 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 240 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 6 inmates = 6 Evaluations; Medication Monitoring 3 units per inmate for 6 inmates = 18 monitorings; Sex Offender Specific Psychological Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 1 inmates = 2 Evaluations; Sex Offender Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 2 Inmates = 96 units; Transportation (one way local trip = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 23 Inmates = 1,104 sessions. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) and Mental Health Treatment Services Statement of Work dated April 2011-Master's Required-revised April 2013PSB and Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Sex Offender Treatment Services Statement of Work dated February 2012-revised April 2013PSB. The request for quotation will be available on or after May 30, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about June 19, 2014. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
